R Watson Design Services Ltd. has been appointed for Architectural Services by Annalong Community Development Association Ltd (ACDA) to join their multidisciplinary team which is headed up by Turley (Planning Consultancy) to obtain Planning Approval for an extension to the existing Annalong Coastal Path. R Watson Design Services Ltd. delivered design proposal for a "soft engineered" coastal path solution which will be low impact on the local ecology and wildlife.
The existing coastal paths provide a great amenity for the village and are frequently used by local residents, day visitors and tourists alike for recreational and other purposes such as walking, jogging/running, bird watching, boat watching and painting.
It has been a pleasure working with ACDA and the wider integrated design team in this very picturesque part of Co. Down, "Where the mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea".
We are looking forward to this scheme progressing through Planning and challenges that may come through the process. We will keep you all posted as this application develops and the progression to onside.
